snowbreeze 2.9.5

The famous iOS hacker ( snowbreeze developer) has updated his brand new version to be public. This new update is supporting iOS 5.1.1 build 9B208.  This new version also not supporting Mac users and any new devices such as A5 or A6.
Snowbreeze tool still supporting Windows platform and A4 devices, here are the supporting devices.
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4
iPod Touch 3G
iPod Touch 4G
iPad 1
Below note I was found from snowbreeze developer Blog. In this note he has explain what are the new?
What is New?
·  Added 5.1.1/9B208 untether payload for the iPhone 4 GSM.
·  Added iPhone 3GS (iPad Baseband users) location services fix.
A5(X) Support?:
As stated many times in the past, sn0wbreeze cannot be updated to work on A5(X) devices until a low level exploit in DFU or iBoot is found and made public. Therefore, A5(X) users will have to rely on using the lovely absinthe.

A5(X) Baseband Preservation/Hacktivation?
For those running A5(X) devices and need to preserve your baseband, there is nothing you can do at the moment. For those wanting to hacktivate, the only advice I can give is to buy the carrier's SIM (the one its locked to obviously) on ebay. The SIM does not have to be active with the carrier to activate the phone.

snowbreeze 2.9.14 support for iOS 6.1.3

Hey guys,
Snowbreeze has been updated to version 2.9.14 and it bring support for iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak. The best part of this update is snowbreeze 2.9.14 is supported for APTicket validation.
If you want to jailbreak your A4 Device as a iOS 6.1.3 tethered jailbreak, this is the time. As usual, snowbreeze is at most for A4 devices and just for Windows platform.
Snowbreeze supporting devices
  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 3GS
  • iPod touch 4G
snowbreeze is very specific jailbreak tool, and it has a very specific way to jailbreak. While snowbreeze jailbreak process it is creating IPSW, with those IPSW you can unlock your device with Ultrasn0w.  The best part of the snowbreeze is you no longer needs to backup your data before start snowbreeze jailbreak process.
Most of the jailbreak tools are asking to backup all the data before start jailbreak, sometimes it is very dangerous because your all the data will be erased.  However, when you are using snowbreeze, there is not any risk because snowbreeze is a jailbreak the device in a current state.

snowbreeze 2.9.4

There is another very good attempt from snowbreeze developer.

Snowbreeze jailbreak tool has updated to version 2.9.4 and he expected added support for iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak. Unfortunately in this new version not added for A5 and A6 devices support because of there is no bootrom exploit above devices.
As always, snowbreeze supporting A4 devices and below A4 devices and main thing is snowbreeze is only for Windows platform. Still, there is not added Mac support.
According to developer blog he has publish below note as What is new?

What is New?

·  Added the 5.1.1/9B206 untether that was released with today's absinthe update.
·  Added 5.0/9B206f (Apple TV 2) support.
·  Minor UI changes (thanks @icj_!).
·  Bug Fixes.
iPhone 4 (GSM) & Apple's 5.1.1/9B208 Update:
This evening, Apple appears to have (surprisingly) released 5.1.1/9B208 for the iPhone 4 (GSM) exclusively. Although there isn't much of a difference it was enough to make the 9B206 untether payload for the iPhone 4 (GSM) invalidate on 9B208. Until pod2g/planetbeing build an untether payload for this build, 9B208 support is not included. A small update will be pushed whenever this occurs. This doesn't mean the untether was patched though.
Update: sn0wbreeze v2.9.5 adds the 9B208 untether payload.

A5(X) Support?:
As stated many times in the past, sn0wbreeze cannot be updated to work on A5(X) devices until a low level exploit in DFU or iBoot is found and made public. Therefore, A5(X) users will have to rely on using the lovely absinthe.
